Mediation

If two parties are prepared to attend mediation it can be a very positive way for parties to sit down with an independent person and resolve matters amicably.

Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution and is a way to help parties resolve disputes between them. Wherever possible, if two parties are prepared to attend mediation it can be a very positive way for parties to sit down with an independent person and resolve matters amicably, particularly regarding children and finances.

A mediator is a qualified person who acts impartially and helps limit conflict arising during the discussions so that you can make decisions jointly. Mediation is now a compulsory stage to any pre-court application relating to arrangements for children.
